Women’s Global Education Project believes that universal education, gender equality and empowerment of women are critical to a society’s development. Our mission is to empower women and girls through education to build better lives and foster equitable communities.
Currently working in Senegal and Kenya, Women’s Global examined the issues surrounding girls and education in the communities we serve and developed solutions that address these issues on multiple levels. Annually, Women's Global scholarship, support and community awareness programs impact more than 3,000 individuals in 20 rural Senegalese and Kenyan villages.
By focusing on education, on women and girls, and on strong partnerships with local organizations and community leaders, Women's Global seeks to ensure that our programs are culturally relevant, promote sustainable development, foster self-reliance, and empower girls, families and entire communities to build their own bright future.
