Thai-Lahu Foundation (25 May 2011 07:05 GMT)
our community development project tested the blood of 40 villagers for chemicals in their blood.
Out of 40 people was only one person with save testing levels, two people were inthe dangerous testing levels.
We know that one reason for the chemicals found in their blood come from the chemicals used in agriculture. These problems are getting addressed already through campeigns, workshops and various support.
We also would like to make sure their drinking water is save.
Please support us to get the quality of the drinking water tested. Please also let us know if oyu know of any person, company, organisation who is able to do these kind of tests, please.

would like to thank our supporters!
We received our first payment by ammado. This great news we would like to share.
It has been very difficult for us in the first place to secure donations, but this is some emotional support that we are on the right track.
Please continue supporting the foundaiotn and it's projects!

Welcome you all in 2011!
We are still fundraising for the printing of the mother & child care booklet http://www.ammado.com/community/117882/profile.
If everybody would only give a small amount, together we would have a huge impact. Please consider assisting us via donation or spreading the word.
