Refugee Support Europe has been successfully operating in Greece's official Refugee Camps of Alexandreia from April 2016-June 2017, Filippiada since October 2016 and LM Village since April 2017. We are also ready to service refugees at Katsikas when they arrive in August 2017.
Dignity is at the heart of what we do.
Conditions are harsh so we are trying to make life a little better for everyone on the camps and to support the local Greek economy.
We have a unique system for the collection and distribution of humanitarian aid that is consistent, fair and dignified.
The numbers of Syrian and Afghan refugees on each camp have varied and we regularly receive new arrivals transferred from the islands.About a third are aged 12 or under and just under half are under 16.
We work closely with the UN Refugee Agency, camp authorities and other NGOs who all recognise the critical role we play.
