Lifeline Energy is working to transform the lives of vulnerbale populations through dependable, self-powered and environmentally friendly technologies.
In order to extend information access and essential lighting in sub-Saharan Africa, we distribute our patented solar-powered and wind-up technologies to women, children, orphans, and other vulnerable populations. By working on projects with partner organizations, we work across the fields of health, education, agriculture, peacemaking, complex emergencies, economic empowerment and the environment.
Since 2003, we have distributed over 200,000 Lifeline radios, which has helped more than 8 million poor and vulnerable people improve the quality of their daily lives.
In 2008, Lifeline Energy created the Lifelight to provide clean and safe electricity to sub-Saharan Africans who live without electricity.
