Hi guys, I think that's a great idea to remind those in the 1st world of the UDHR, to accentuate the problem that so many people in the world don't even have the most basic of human rights. I've downloaded the kids version so my children can take it into school and discuss.

Hi AI Irish section, we're come out of beta and have launched our invitation-only site today with many new features:
Invitations - individual members can now invite their favorite nonprofits to join ammado
Snapshot - after login, you immediately see a summary of the latest activity of your nonprofits, friends &
Messages - individual members can now send private messages to their ammado friends
Photo Albums - photos can be now be organised into different albums
Polls - you can now create polls within communities, to get a feel for the opinion of community members
Invite Friends to communities - you can now invite friends (either ammado members or not) to join the communities you've set up
Languages - we'll be reaching an even larger on-line audience as ammado is now available in Japanese, Korean, German & French

Hi there, we're currently running a new competition for the person with the most 'ammado friends', the winner receives a €1000 on-line hamper and €1000 for the charity/not-for-profit of their choice (for details search under 'Charities' for ammado), so why not invite your members/supporers/employees to join ammado and see if they can win the €1000 for AI Irish Section. CAFÉ NIGHT - Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon
Join us for some food and drinks hosted by Amnesty's Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territories Group.
The evening will include a discussion with Caoimhe Butterly. Caoimhe is currently working with NGO's in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. In particular, Caoimhe will be discussing the humanitarian situation in the Nahr al-Bared camp, after a conflict between militants and the Lebanese army in the camp earlier this year.
Date: Wednesday 12 December 2007, 7pm to 9pm.
Venue: Amnesty Freedom Café, 48 Fleet St, Dublin 2
