Aiducation International (AI) was founded in Kenya in 2006. It has since branched out to Switzerland, Germany and Singapore. AI raises scholarships from its donors, called "AiduMakers", which are donated to highly motivated, bright and poor secondary school students in Kenya. Primary education is free and standardized for all in Kenya, but many meritorious students drop out at the secondary school level, purely due to financial constraints.
By financially supporting the intellectual capital of Kenya, AI gives its AiduMakers the opportunity to contribute to the economic, political and social development of the country by turning a talented and poor child into a talented and empowered citizen.
