PART TIME VACANCY IN KDRC (CE SCHEME)
We will shortly have a vacancy for a part time Admin position. Duties to
include general office duties, computer work, filing, photocopying. Dealing
with client queries and carrying out work related duties. Knowledge of sign
language/Deaf issues is an advantage.
Applicants must be registered with FAS and meet specific eligibility
criteria for these posts. FAS will check eligibility prior to any referral
for CE Schemes. Ineligible applicants will not be able to access these CE
positions.

VISIT TO ARAS TO MEET PRESIDENT OF IREALND
We are delighted to receive an invite to the President of Ireland's Garden
Party on the 8th of July.
Along with our Centre Manager, William White, 5 other guests will attend.
They will include two Deaf guests, a hard of hearing guest, a hearing parent
of a deaf child and our CE scheme supervisor who is based at North East
Kerry Development.
EVENT IN DUBLIN FOR SIGN LANGUAGE LEARNERS
The Irish Sign Language Academy is organising an evening of fun for ALL
Irish Sign Language learners. It will be held on Friday 25th June from 6pm
at the Dublin Deaf Association (40 Lower Drumcondra Road).
Come along and practise your ISL skills with other learners and learn a
little bit more about the Irish Deaf Society/Deaf community. Tea and Coffee
will be available from 6pm at the Dublin Deaf Association, 40 Lower
Drumcondra Rd, Dublin 9
This event is open to ALL students from any class/organisation (at any

ST. VINCENT's DEAF FOOTBALL CLUB 60th ANNIVERSARY
To celebrate 60 years anniversary of St.Vincent's Deaf Football Club, a
number of events are being organised.
The 1st is a Cheese and Wine Reception at the Deaf Club. It will be held on
Friday 18th of June from 7pm-9pm
The Club will have a draw for the knock out rounds on the Saturday, 19th of
June. Their first match will be kick off at 11am and will be finished before
5pm.
The Club also plans to display all trophies the team won over the years.
The 2nd event is a Dinner Dance, which will be held in the Gresham Hotel, 23
Upr. O'Connell St., Dublin 1. This will be on 19th June 7pm till late and
neat dress is essential
DUBLIN THEATRE OF THE DEAF
The Annual General Meeting of the Dublin Theatre of the Deaf will be held on
Tuesday 29th June at 6pm in the Deaf Club, Drumcondra.
Dublin Deaf Drama had been running for 35 years now and hopes to celebrate
this milestone this year. They would appreciate your support at their AGM
and celebrating with them on their big anniversary.
