Gorta - Marketing Intern/Volunteer – 4 days per week, for a 12 week period.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in gorta for the position of marketing intern. The intern will assist with the roll out of a major Christmas TV, radio, online and print marketing campaign aimed at awareness raising and fundraising for gortasupporting our work in hunger and poverty alleviation in sub-Saharan Africa.

The internship will be hands-on and the intern will have the opportunity to work on many elements of the campaign inducing production of marketing materials, assisting with customer orders and concise data entry. The intern will also assist the Marketing and Communications Department in the completion of a comprehensive post campaign report and analysis.

Requirements:- 

• Candidates should have some experience of working in marketing capacity and a relevant marketing/business qualification.
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Computer literacy particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
