Now that you are on ammado, how can you let others know too? Here are 4 fast and easy ways to help spread the word:

Congratulations - you have now successfully signed up to ammado, the one space from which you can manage all your social media to engage your supporters and receive donations from across the world. In the next few weeks we will be publishing articles here to help you get more awareness for your cause on ammado and throughout the web.
Using the ammado website is as simple as a few clicks of your mouse. You can create and update your ammado profile from anywhere with an internet connection. Use ammado from work, home, a coffee shop, the airport, wherever and whenever you have the time. No prior knowledge of website design or creation is needed to quickly and easily create your ammado profile and have a great ammado experience! Here are 4 tips on how to get started…
Your logo is a great visual representation of your nonprofit. It grabs attention and shows your brand. Pages with logos often receive more attention than pages without. To add your logo, log in and on the main bar of your profile page, you will see a generic ribbon logo. Next to this, click Edit and then click Upload Logo. Then browse to your logo of choice and click Upload. Click Save. You will also be able to choose a thumbnail image as well if your logo is bigger than a square shape. If your logo does not immediately appear, try to refresh the page or log out and log back in. It’s a simple process that will take you only seconds to complete
A tagline is a short sentence or motto that can help the world quickly understand what your organization does. If you did not provide a tagline when you registered, log in and on the main bar of your profile page click on Edit by your nonprofit name. Add your desired tag line and the world will instantly know more about who you are and what you are doing.
A nonprofit overview is a great way to introduce individual and corporate donors to your organization. When you are logged in, click on “edit” in the nonprofit overview box and simply type in your nonprofit description. You can also copy and paste from a existing text. Press save and your overview will be published.
While your nonprofit overview will most likely stay the same on the ammado website, the news and articles section is a vibrant way to keep everyone updated on the most recent information that is important to you and your organization. Feel like you don’t have time to keep this updated? Remember, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You can upload photos or links to this section as well. So, if you’ve just finished that online newsletter, post a “news and article” with a link to the newsletter. Have you just finished a press release? Copy and paste it into a “news and article” and let the ammado users know too. Did you just take some great photos at a fundraising event? Type a few words about it and then direct people to your photo library where they can view all the photos you upload. It is fast and easy. To get started with “news and articles,” when logged in, go to that section and simply click on “add.” You can even preview how your news and articles will look before you publish. If you want to upload the entire newsletter, don’t forget about your document library. It’s located at the bottom right hand side of your profile page. Post a quick news and article in the main section and alert people to check out your document library. The more active your news and articles section is, the higher your visibility on the ammado website.

To get the spring season off to a positive start we wanted to share with you once more an article from nonprofit fundraising and online communities expert, Heather Mansfield:
"Now Nonprofits Outside the U.S. and Canada Can Fundraise on Facebook Too"
From an outsiders perspective, Heather simply explains many of the ammado features that can greatly enhance your online communications and online fundraising success in 2010! With ammado you can now raise funds on facebook even if you aren't a US or Canadian nonprofit. With 400 million users on facebook today, you shouldn't miss out on that opportunity.

If you have not already signed up for donations through ammado, we would strongly encourage you to do so... this can be done directly from your ammado profile.
We would also encourage you to take advantage of the free fundraising tools, such as fundraising communities and the ammado giving widget, that are part of your ammado membership.
With our best wishes,
The ammado Team
Have you heard the good news? It’s the annotation update to the YouTube Nonprofit Program making it all about engagement and taking action.
So, what does it mean? It means that nonprofit YouTube videos can have buttons built into the videos that say DONATE NOW or SIGN THE PETITION and these buttons will link to any site you designate. You can even go back to your old videos on YouTube and make your logo into a clickable link, and therefore, turning your video into an engagement tool. This is by far, the most important reason to be in the YouTube Nonprofit Program.
Wait no longer, if you’re a nonprofit act now by taking advantage of this feature by linking directly to your donations or profile page on ammado.
To view the power of this feature, check out this video.
