Wemos explained what the situation is around MDG 1 and has focused more closely on hunger and malnutrition and especially about how to tackle them. To improve the problem of malnutrition in a structural way, a coherent package of measures is needed. In these measures not only the agricultural and food sector should be involved, but also the contribution of the health care sector for example is required.
