The Vagabond Adventures of Lucie (the Scottish lass), Lachlan (the Australian bloke) & Bow Wow (the African dog) begins a new chapter in our lives. Together, we are about to set off on an epic African overland adventure by 4×4. We will be acting as ambassadors for the charity called, Back to Africa, which relocates rare & endangered African species from zoological institutions worldwide “back to Africa”. The journey begins in Southern Africa, travelling north to Kenya where we will cross over into Asia via India and beyond.

Currently Back to Africa have conservation projects for Black Rhino, Northern White Rhino, Baboons, Sable and Roan Antelope. On our overland journey, we will visit each of Back to Africa’s project sites which are scattered all over Africa and write about what we find. In doing so, we hope to raise funds, build awareness for this worthwhile cause and educate people on the conservation of these rare and endangered species.
