ADRA Norway is part of the international ADRA network. ADRA is an independent, humanitarian agency with the specific purpose of individual and community development and disaster relief. ADRA provides sustainable community development and disaster relief without regard to political or religious association, age, gender, race or ethnicity. ADRA Norway facilitate for change and development through a) strengthening the competence and capacity of partner organizations, b) providing opportunities for people to reach their potential and c) enhancing mutual learning and change processes. We work to promote gender equality and peace and reconciliation in the areas of education, health, food security, water and sanitation and provide emergency relief when conflicts and disasters happen. Our main implementing partners are ADRA Peru, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia.
