Scholarships are available for students studying Project Management or a related field (this covers many different types of academic degrees). Although some of our scholarships are restricted geographically, many others are not. The Kerzner Scholarships are available for anyone to apply. And, many of the scholarships are available to students attending colleges in specific geographies but may be from anywhere in the world.

The PMI Educational Foundation has many free tools that can easily be downloaded from our website at www.pmief.org - then click the tab titled "Learning Zone." We have a careers in project management tool, project management skills for life tool, and a brand new educational curriculum for secondary schools which includes lesson plans, in addition to many free templates and samples.
Because we believe that project management is a life skill as well as a professional skill, we encourage others to use these free tools in their local communities. The PM Skills for Life is a free tool that is being used to teach individuals how to build Wendy Houses in South Africa. It is also being used to train nonprofits in Nigeria and India to be better managers of the many events (Guess what? An event's a project) they hold each year. These are just a few examples.
And, to help nonprofits and teachers learn more about project management, we award 20 scholarships per quarter to an online training program in project management. You can download the application at www.pmief.org and click the menu tab for Scholarships.
