Hi everyone! It's less than 2 weeks to the Singapore Marathon and I'm actually having some cold feet!
I've just touched down in lovely, humid Malaysia a few days ago and guess what? Less than 24 hours in I have managed to get a sore throat, catch a cold and cough and lose my voice! Must really be the haze/dust/heat here.
Needless to say I haven't been able to log any training thus far, but I'll get on to it soon!
I've found myself some humans to run with me, namely, Isaiah, Meng and Ralph! So I'd like to say thanks heaps!!
Because they're so kind to contribute their time and energy, I'm looking for sponsors to cover their travel and lodging expenses! If any of you know any companies who would be willing to sponsor my comrades on our journey to Singapore, let me know! Also, if you're from Singapore and can perhaps offer a couch/spare bed for them, that'd be awesome as well!
My number's 012-9035220 if u need to get a hold of me immediately.
To those heading to Singapore next weekend, I'll see you there! Do come and say Hi! =)

Just a quick update on what I've been up to.
Over the weekend I took part in the Auckland Marathon, and got to run over Harbour Bridge! It was quite a thrill, I must say. I was especially psyched when i found that the training that i've been doing (albeit little) has enabled me to achieve a personal best beyond my dreams! I clocked just under 4 hours for the full marathon and am totally stoked!
Gives me a little bit more confidence for Singapore, as I had initially aimed for no target time at all. But now with this rejuvenated boost of confidence, I think I shall set myself a target of 4:30. What do you think? Another half an hour for running blind? Achievable?
So thanks again for your continuous support! The figures are still rising, so that serves as a gentle nudge whenever I'm feeling a bit lazy to get out and run!
xx
