This is my first go at using the Fundraising Community myself. I have helped others, individuals and companies, but I decided it was time to make my own. Or, should I say that I saw something that made me want to use the ammado functionality to its most.

Now I know I am personifying...that is an old habit of mine I am not willing to change. But I swear I can see fear and desperation on his face in this picture.

Last week I took in a tiny kitten who had been tossed from a car on my street in Rome. The mechanic who saved him is deathly allergic. Fabrizio (the mechanic) is also human. The one thing he could do is stop traffic, pick up the trembling little thing, put him in a box and take an anti-allergy pill quick. Then look for a home.

No misplaced personification there. The kitty who now has 2 names and 4 aunties sharing the keeping until he lands his permanent residence, was terrified. But through the fear, began to purr.

I don't know if bears purr, but when this excellent nonprofit manages to save this bear, I hope they tell me how it went.
